Biography —
Christopher Koliba is the Edwin O. Stene Distinguished Professor of Public Administration, Policy & Governance at the University of Kansas School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA). He possesses a Ph.D. from the Interdisciplinary Social Science Program an MPA from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Koliba’s research interests include the areas of democratic accountability and governance, the governance of critical infrastructure, and the application of the theories and science of networks and complexity to matters of democratic institutional design and policy. He is the Co-Director of the Center for Democratic Governance at University of Kansas and Co-chair of the Accountability and Reform Research Consortium (ARRC). He is the lead author of Governance Network in Public Administration and Public Policy, with over 120 peer review publications and book chapters and PI, Co-PI, or Science Leader on over $50 million in research grants. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration.
